Lindy Hop
Andrea discovered Lindy Hop in 2015 in Genoa, after years of exploring European folk dances. Curious, kind, and always a gentleman, he brings enthusiasm, technical depth, and historical context into his teaching. With a background in theatre and guitar, he began teaching in 2018, creating classes that are energetic, welcoming, and grounded in a deep love for the dance.
Benedetta’s connection to music started early with classical piano, later expanding to drums and a wide range of musical styles. She discovered Lindy Hop in 2018 and, after training as both lead and follow, began teaching in Genoa. With a background in astrophysics and experience teaching maths and physics, she brings clarity, structure, and strong musicality to her classes, always leaving space for creativity and personal expression.
Together, Andrea and Benedetta create a rich and engaging learning environment where technique meets playfulness, and history meets personal expression. Dancing with them is not just about steps... It's about community, discovery, and a lot of joy.
From her very first Lindy Hop class in 2018 Else was hooked on jazz.
With a background in musical theatre and love for all kinds of music and movement, Else found her true voice in authentic solo jazz - a dance rooted in rhythm, expression, and musical storytelling. Having her partner, and fantastic jazz guitarist, Jack by her side, she breathes musicality and is obsessed with rhythm, which shapes her work.
After years of teaching, she founded World of Jazz: a dance school dedicated to high-quality classes, a welcoming and inclusive community, and a deep respect for the African American roots of jazz dance.
Else teaches with electric energy and creativity. Whether working with beginners or experienced dancers, she creates a space where people feel supported, inspired, and are invited to express themselves.
